- Math problems you enter — sent to our AI service to generate solutions. We do not store these permanently.
- Device language and region — used to display the app in your preferred language.
- Subscription status — managed entirely by Apple. We do not store payment or billing information.
- App usage data — anonymized analytics to improve app performance (no personal identifiers).
2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate AI-powered math solutions
- To manage your subscription and trial access
- To improve app performance and fix bugs
3. Data Storage
Solutions and history are stored locally on your device only using secure device storage (AsyncStorage). We do not sync your data to external servers.
4. Third-Party Services
- OpenAI — processes math problems to generate solutions. Subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
- Apple In-App Purchases — handles all subscription payments. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
5. Children's Privacy
MathIQ does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed to be safe for students of all ages.
6. Data Retention
We do not retain personal data on our servers. All locally stored data (history, solutions) can be cleared by deleting the app.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal information. Since we store data locally on-device, deleting the app removes all associated data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
